“Losing weight is never easy. At this point it my life it was so hard to completely alter my diet. But, knowing how important physical wellness is, staying committed to it became a part of my new, healthy standard of living. On the surface it seems too difficult to not be able to have the things that one would consider normal such as bread, or the occasional Hersey bar. But after the first month of really easing into the diet I found it was actually more enjoyable to eat healthy. Egg whites became the new bread, and fruits became the new Hersey bar. It seems crazy, but after losing almost twenty-one pounds in two months its actually easy to stay committed. This diet has not only changed my health, but has had a positive effect on my ability to work, and exercise on a daily basis. Though the diet is very different, it does not necessarily take away the things you enjoy. As a vegetarian, I am accustom to eating Indian food. Working with the staff has allowed me to create a personalized diet that not only fulfills the requirements, but also still gives me the opportunity to make and eat the food I love. The diet may have changed, but the dinner table stayed the same. Overall, when asked if I would go back to my old ways even with the weight off, the answer is still no.
